Course Care – Practicing on the Course

The Match committee have received complaints in relation to members practicing with multiple balls late in the day, unfilled divots, pitch marks and bunkers not being raked. Members are not permitted to use the golf course as their own personal practice facility/driving range. Members have been observed playing 5 to 10 balls from the fairway and rough to our greens, leaving huge divots and un-repaired pitch marks.

The following rules apply to practicing on the golf course:

·         A maximum of two balls per player when hitting to a green.

·         Chipping around green is permitted with a limit of two balls.

·         Practicing from a bunker is permitted with a maximum of two balls. The bunker must be raked.

·         Golf attire must be worn at all times when playing or practicing on the course, including the practice facilities (collared shirt, tailored shorts and socks. No denim is permitted).

·         11A is not to be used as a practice facility.

·         When using the practice green facilities, you are permitted to use up to ten balls. Please ensure you fill your divots and repair pitch marks at all times.

Please assist us in keeping our fantastic golf course in great shape. Sam and his team are working incredibly hard to constantly improve the facility and we need all members to do the right thing.
