Once again, thank you to those who attended the EGM on Monday night. Having 174 members attend was fantastic, and I hope you all felt informed and updated with the building project to date.
Please find below two links from the EGM on Monday night. The first link has the full recorded version of the members’ clubhouse update presented by Lance Barnes and the Resolutions, which were put to the floor for voting. The second link is the presentation as a standalone document without commentary. This will give you an opportunity to review each slide at your own pace and come back to the General Manager, if you have any further questions.
As highlighted on Monday night and included within the presentation, we will be sending out membership renewal notices early. We would ask that any member, if able, pays their fees as soon as possible to assist the Club with the short-term cash flow issue.
We will also be offering a five-year membership deal to a limited number of 6 and 7-day members. The details of this offer are within the presentations. We have already received a number of “expressions of interest.” If you are keen to take up this offer, please contact the General Manager as soon as possible at manager@mvgc.com.au
Since Monday night’s EGM, a number of members have generously reached out and suggested they would be happy to pay the $300 levy for the next three years all in one invoice ($900 in total). If this interests you, feel free to reach out to the General Manager. Thank you for your support and positive comments following Monday night’s meeting.
The membership subscription notices will be sent out on Tuesday, 2nd April. The due date of the invoice will still be July 1st. However, early payment would be greatly appreciated.
Firstly, we would like to thank the 174 members who came to the EGM last night. It was great to see such a good turnout. The night was recorded, and in the coming days, we will send out a full version of both the presentation and the recorded video. This way, you can view the slideshow in your own time and watch Club President Lance Barnes talk through and explain each slide.
Last night saw all three ordinary resolutions carried. However, the special resolution relating to ‘Provisional membership’ did not pass and was denied.
